January 13, 2009 -- Axis Communications, a provider of network video products, has named Jack L. Meltzer as its A&E [architectural and engineering] and consultant program manager. Meltzer will be the chief liaison and manage Axis' programs for the architectural, engineering and professional security consultant communities. He will report to Dr. Jumbi Edulbehram, director of business development for Axis.

Meltzer has more than 25 years of security industry experience. Prior to joining Axis, Meltzer was with ICx Technologies; before that, he worked for 10 years at Lenel. There as global director, consultant support services, he developed and managed its global consultant support programs. Prior to Lenel, he was president of Wornall Electronics (acquired by Niscayah in 2005), a security system integration house. He has been a member of ASIS since 1988.
"Jack has a unique perspective and vast experience in the security industry," comments Fredrik Nilsson, general manager of Axis Communications. "We are pleased that he has joined Axis and look forward to his important work with our A&E partners and customers."
