February 23, 2009 -- 3Com Corporation announced that it has appointed Inspira Enterprise India as the exclusive distributor for all its networking products and solutions in India.
Under the terms of the arrangement, Inspira will dedicate a team of people to focus exclusively on 3Com, and will also set up a customer management center to serve as a single point of contact for all Indian customers, providing multi-lingual 24/7 fault management support and other services, including a demo center in New Delhi to showcase 3Com's products.
Founded by local entrepreneur Prakash Jain, Inspira is an IT services and solutions provider that will have complete responsibility for all of 3Com's sales, marketing, distribution and servicing activities in the country. The Inspira team will work in collaboration with 3Com's India office.

Inspira says it will leverage its management expertise in building businesses to serve 3Com customers over a wide geographical area. Prakash, who built up i2i Enterprise, a managed telecom services company in India which provided 90 percent of India's financial data connectivity for SWIFT global banking, was previously vice chairman of BT India.
For enterprises, Inspira will emphasize integrated, end-to-end 3Com solutions and services, starting with core networking, security, IP video surveillance and converged solutions, as well as base infrastructure.
