Toshiba strengthens IP-video sales channel

Sales exeutive with experience at D-Link and Canon USA aims to bolster channel development for IP cameras and recording equipment.

Jeffrey Kunzler has joined IP video technology provider Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video as channel program manager for North America. The hiring is an indication that Toshiba intends to bolster sales growth for its IP video technologies, particularly through its VAR partners. Toshiba indicated it has aggressive ambitions for such growth.

Kunzler most recently was national accounts and business development manager for D-Link's network video solutions. There he focused on new partner acquisition and sales growth for the company's IP cameras and digital recording systems. He also has held positions with Naples, FL-based Barr Security, Viewcast Corporation, Canon USA and Mitsubishi Electronics.

Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video national sales and marketing manager Sergio Collazo commended Kunzler's 15-year track record in video-products sales as well as his experience developing reseller, channel management and distribution relationships.
