Security-systems provider Pelco recently announced the successful integration of several of its video products with the Alvarion wireless platform. Alvarion joined what is called the Pelco Partner First Program, and the two organizations' technologies can now be bundled as a solution.
Alvarion's point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless broadband solutions provide coverage and capacity in non-line-of-sight environments, Pelco explained when announcing the successful integration. "Alvarion solutions include advanced security capabilities and allow seamless integration with Pelco Sarix and other Pelco IP cameras."
