Siemon names 2020 college scholarship award winners

For more than a quarter century, Siemon has conducted its scholarship program in order to help students from its local area to pursue their academic goals.

The Siemon Company of Watertown, Connecticut recently awarded 12 high school graduates with scholarships that they will apply towards their college educations.

The company’s scholarship program recognizes outstanding students who have demonstrated superior academic achievement, leadership in extracurricular activities, and synergy among vocational aspiration, academic success and financial resources. For more than a quarter of a century, Siemon has been awarding these scholarships in order to help students from its local area to pursue their academic goals.

The Siemon Company Scholarships

This year, Siemon awarded 4 Siemon Company Scholarships to local high school graduates:

  • The recipient for the Carl M. Siemon Science Scholarship was awarded to Kaitlyn Thrall.
  • Hannah Kozar was awarded The Siemon-Dynamic Robert Knickerbocker Scholarship.
  • Faris Khokhar was the recipient of The Siemon Company Scholarship.
  • Danielle Demers received the The David B. Siemon Scholarship.

Arthur F. Hinkleman Scholarships

The Siemon Company also named 8 high school graduates as winners of the 2020 Arthur F. Hinkleman Scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to the children of Siemon Company employees.

Those being honored with these scholarships include: Paige Corcoran, Hunter Thompson, Rebecca Broadrick, Kalista Landrum, Sarah Newsted, Ava Duval, Nadia Stronkowsky and Colin Booberg.

Per the company's announcement of the awards: "The Siemon Company wishes to extend to these students its congratulations and best wishes for continued academic success."
