Two upcoming trade shows will focus on what many believe now to be the world's hottest telecommunications markets - China and India.
The shows include the International Telecommunication Union's ITU TELECOM ASIA 2002 in Hong Kong, which will be held Dec. 2 through 7. The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) will organize the USA Pavilion.
The ITU exhibition is the United Nations agency's strongest regional event, with senior government and industry officials expected from throughout the area. The site for the show and conference is the Hong Kong Exhibition Center used two years ago for the last ITU event in the region.
Secondly, SUPERCOMM INDIA will return to New Delhi, Jan. 20 through 22, 2003. The trade show and conference will be co-organized by Interads Ltd. of India, Times Education Services Group of Singapore and the TIA. This will be the third annual SUPERCOMM in Asia, repeating in India for the second year after the launch in Shanghai in April 2001. The New Delhi show and conference will be held at the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Center's Hall 18. Deadline to submit 150-word abstracts for speaking opportunities is Sept. 30.
