Psiber launches 40GBase-T cabling systems and field testing resource

Aug. 7, 2013
Psiber Data Systems has launched a webpage devoted to providing the latest in professional network testing and protocol analysis information related to 40GBase-T technology and Category 8 twisted-pair cabling systems.

Psiber Data Systems has launched its 40GBASE-T Cabling Systems and Field Testing Resource Center, a webpage devoted to providing the latest in professional network testing and protocol analysis information related to the technology.

Psiber's 40GBase-T cabling and field testing resource page is committed to presenting updated information from professional and standards organizations including ISO/IEC, TIA, and IEEE, related to the emerging next-generation of widely deployed copper twisted-pair cabling systems for 40G. The new resource page features two classes of information:

-- Selected contributions from standards committees: Contributions made to standards committees are in many cases accessible only to members, notes Psiber. However, some presentations are available for public access, and this section of the resource presents an ongoing compilation of selected articles related to 40GBase-T and Category 8 field testing.

-- Articles, white papers, and presentations: A list of hotlinks on the page contains literature of interest related to field testing of cabling systems for 40GBase-T.

The resource page also includes a thorough calendar listing official standards meetings related to the furtherance of next-generation 40GBase-T cabling technologies.
