May 25, 2001 The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) and The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) will jointly host a conference on business opportunities in emerging telecommunications markets in Latin America, June 6-7, at Supercomm 2001 in the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. This conference will bring together industry leaders and senior regulatory officials from Latin America to address the future of telecommunications infrastructure deployment. It will focus on market opportunities and commercial telecommunications projects in Latin America. Panelists will discuss emerging needs, applications, and specific opportunities in the region.
