UL warns of communication cabling with unauthorized marking

November 10, 2009 --Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is notifying consumers, manufacturers, regulatory agencies and authorities having jurisdiction that the communications cable, identified below, bears an unauthorized UL mark for the United States and Canada.

The product has not been evaluated by UL to the appropriate standards for safety for the United States and Canada, and is not authorized to bear the UL Mark. It is unknown if the product complies with the United States or Canadian safety requirements.
