comCables will introduce a line of patch cords at the BICSI 2011 Fall Conference, which will be held in Las Vegas, NV the week of September 18. The company says it will test every single cord in its new product line before that cord is shipped to the customer.
"With the onslaught of counterfeit patch cable issues leading to system failures, comCables is ensuring 100 percent of our high-performance patch cords perform at TIA standard levels, 100 percent of the time," said Andy Work, comCables' director of product management. "That's why each one of the patch cables is tested before they're packaged and delivered."

According to comCables, its new cords exhibit the following characteristics.
- Made in the United States of America
- All components are ETL verified and UL listed
- 100-percent tested to ensure performance
- High-density, snag-free boot design
- End-to-end channel performance guarantee
The patch cords are the first product in what comCables is calling its Ultimate product line. "The comCables Ultimate line will feature high-performance products, while comCables Value line will offer products taht meet standards at value prices," the company said.
