New patch cords tested before shipping

Aug. 12, 2011
Each cord in comCables' new product line will be tested for TIA standard performance before being packed and delivered to customers.

comCables will introduce a line of patch cords at the BICSI 2011 Fall Conference, which will be held in Las Vegas, NV the week of September 18. The company says it will test every single cord in its new product line before that cord is shipped to the customer.

"With the onslaught of counterfeit patch cable issues leading to system failures, comCables is ensuring 100 percent of our high-performance patch cords perform at TIA standard levels, 100 percent of the time," said Andy Work, comCables' director of product management. "That's why each one of the patch cables is tested before they're packaged and delivered."
