Light Brigade offering used fiber-optic testers, tools for sale

Sept. 3, 2014
Promising steep discounts, the fiber-optic training company is now selling some of its excess equipment inventory.

The Light Brigade, the education and training arm of AFL, is offering to sell some of the equipment it has used for its hands-on fiber-optic training programs.

The company routinely makes equipment available to its students as part of a lab experience to enable greater understanding of the concepts covered in its training classes. The hands-on experiences are hallmarks of Light Brigade’s training approach.

Promising steep discounts, the company is now selling some of its excess equipment inventory.

In particular, fiber-optic test equipment such as optical time domain reflectometers (OTDRs), fiber identifiers, power meters, and light sources can be purchased. High-end fusion and ribbon splicers are also available.

Questions about pricing and availability can be referred to Light Brigade's Joe Wendler at (206) 575-0404.
