6-GHz Spectrum Analyzer Troubleshoots WiFi 6, WiFi 7 Networks

NetAlly recently introduced the NXT-2000 6-GHz Spectrum Analyzer, which the company said is designed to work with its other handheld WiFi analysis tools. NetAlly explained the new troubleshooting tool “enables network engineers and IT professionals to effectively identify and mitigate interference issues in the 6-GHz spectrum, ensuring optimal performance of WiFi 6 and WiFi 7 networks.”

When launching NXT-2000, NetAlly pointed out the following capabilities and features.

• Full-spectrum visibility: Detects and analyzes RF interference across 2.4-GHz, 5-GHz, and 6-GHz bands.
• Real-time interference location: Pinpoints sources of non-WiFi interference that could degrade network performance using an internal omnidirectional or external directional antenna.
• Network security improvement: The NXT-2000 inspects “No Wireless Zones” and locates intentional RF interference sources.
• Upgraded performance: NetAlly claims this tool delivers faster interferer detection and location, with higher frequency resolution and sweep times, than other available solutions.
• User-friendly interface: Simplifies wireless diagnostics.
• Portable and rugged design: Ideal for field use in a variety of environments.

Blake Krone, managing director of WiFi consulting firm Mobiadroit, commented about the newly introduced tool, “The NetAlly NXT-2000 6-GHz Spectrum Analyzer is the missing piece that completes the all-in-one toolkit. Paired with the EtherScope nXG or CyberScope, I can perform comprehensive end-to-end wireless and wired testing without juggling multiple devices, dongles, or adapters.
