Optical fiber manufacturer OFS has released this short video offering a tour of its United States manufacturing facility in Norcross, Georgia. Starting with a series of in-depth graphs explaining its optical fiber technology, the video goes on to view the highly automated OFS manufacturing operation.
From rendering the pure raw materials of optical fiber, the video takes viewers through the company's VAD preform fabrication process, and on to fiber draw and final product testing.
