Panduit Corp., a global provider of electrical and network infrastructure cabling and connectivity, has announced the promotion of Tom Donovan to the position of president and chief executive officer. Donovan most recently served as the company’s president and chief operating officer. He succeeds Gerald W. Caveney, "who will focus on other business opportunities," according to a press release.

“I am honored to have been chosen to lead the Panduit organization into the next chapter of its 60-year history,” said Donovan. “I look forward to working with our partners and employees to build new business capabilities, develop industry-leading innovation and to continue enhancing our performance around the world.”
