What a crappy thing to do: Copper cable stolen from sewage plant

Law enforcement in Sussex, UK is appealing for help after thieves took more than £1500 worth of cable.

Mid Sussex Times reports that police in the Scaynes Hill area of Sussex, U.K. have issued a request for information after thieves took approximately £1500 worth of coppercabling from a sewage treatment facility there.

According to the report , “It is believed the offenders came across the fields at the rear of the premises where the fencing had been cut.”
