Superior Essex Communications changes name

Superior Essex Communications LP recently announced it has changed its legal name to Superior Essex International LP. The company recently consolidated its energy-cable business into its communications-products business unit.

Tim Waldner, president of Superior Essex International LP, commented, “The name Superior Essex International better reflects the broader scope of our product offering and global market reach following the integration of our energy and communications operations. As a result of this change, we have improved our ability to serve our customers, many of which are involved in both communications and energy markets.”

Superior Essex International LP remains a division of Superior Essex Inc.; the name change has no effect on Superior Essex Inc.’s other divisions.
