PoE Texas has unveiled a new Power over Ethernet accessory for Intel's NUC mini PC.
Dubbed the PoE NUC Lid, and designed to install on all 7th, 8th, and 10th generation form factors of the mini PC, the GBT-NUC lid accepts uPoE or IEEE 802.3bt dual signature Power over Ethernet and delivers power and data for the NUC wherever users need it.
Whether for using a NUC as a media server for displays, an audio-visual device like an AirServer, or an Intel Unite platform, now users can install it where they need it, with no electrical outlet required.
The PoE NUC Lid is compatible with Intel NUCs that have a power consumption of 60 watts or less, including the following devices:
