Bel Magnetic Solutions announced it has expanded its Vertical Mount MagJack Integrated Connector Modules (ICM) series to include 1GBASE-T, 2.5GBASE-T, 5GBASE-T and 10GBASE-T models with 60W PoE options.

The new vertical mount ICMs are intended for use in 5G cellular equipment, single-board motherboards, industrial PCs, printers, daughter cards, industrial controllers, and any applications requiring a vertical mount Ethernet connector, where board space is a premium.

The company says its Vertical Mount series single port RJ45 MagJack ICMs offer 10/100BASE-T thru 10GBASE-T Ethernet performance with 60W PoE options in the same mechanical package and footprint as existing non-PoE vertical mount connectors and are well suited for non-traditional board mount applications where a standard right angle ICM will not fit.

The company notes that users can implement 60W PoE of power to enhance existing applications, which will increase speed 10x over standard Gigabit Ethernet.

The Vertical Mount series ICMs are backward compatible with existing Ethernet networks and are compatible with all major 1GBASE-T thru 10GBASE-T PHYs, including the latest current-mode and voltage-mode chips. Part numbers include:

V8BR-1AX1-GH
V8BR-1AX1-HT
V8BR-1AX1-JK
G55-122N-155

Bel Magnetic's Vertical Mount MagJack ICMs are in distribution stock with Digi-Key, Mouser, Newark and Farnell. For technical inquiries, email [email protected] or call +1 (858) 842-1970.
