Leviton and Nextivity Team Up to Bring Connectivity to Customers

This alliance will deliver cellular connectivity to enterprise customers.
Sept. 20, 2023

Leviton and Nextivity are working together as part of a marketing relationship to bring cellular connectivity for enterprise customers. This alliance uses the strength and experience of both individual companies to deliver cost-effective, off-air Active DAS Hybrid cellular solutions over Leviton’s infrastructure.

By using category cabling, the companies are able to keep costs down and making their solution “an excellent option for commercial spaces from 5,000 to 1,000,000 square feet”, per Stephen Kowal the CCO for Nextivity.

As RF frequencies increase for 5G and in critical communications such as health care and data center applications, infrastructure is important, and Leviton believes it provides the highest quality infrastructure. The companies aim to ensure that end users have a reliable, quickly deployed solution with no carrier changes using built-in quality materials and certified installation partners.

Randy Mortenson, senior vice president of global sales and marketing for Leviton, states, “Levitons ULAN™ network architecture and cable solutions fit perfectly with the CEL-FI® solution that Nextivity provides.”

Leviton and Nextivity are working on cooperation between sales teams as well as joint education of industry experts including engineers, consultants, and architects.
