Leviton Acquires a Major Network Enclosure Manufacturer

Leviton’s acquisition of PRISM DCS will add more to its portfolio of offerings for commercial and data center clients.

Leviton recently announced that it acquired PRISM Data Centre Solutions (DCS) Limited. The UK-based company is service focused and provides consultation, design, manufacture and installation of 19’’ cabinets, and more to communications networks and data centers.

Leviton designs and manufactures end to end copper and fiber structured cabling systems around the world. With the new acquisition, the company can include network rack, data and server cabinets to their offerings for data center and commercial customers.

Oliver Reynolds, who will continue to lead PRISM DCS as managing director, stated, “Joining Leviton provides an unparalleled opportunity to improve the value we offer to our existing and new customers. Being part of a financially strong, global organization will only accelerate our growth and expansion across EMEA and further afield. Our award-winning solutions and services will fit perfectly into Leviton’s already impressive portfolio.”

Regarding the acquisition, Leviton Network Solutions EMEA managing director Ian Wilkie remarked, “PRISM DCS is the latest acquisition made by Leviton in the past few years and is another example of the company’s ambitions for the Network Solutions business.”
