TE Connectivity Will Host a Fundamentals Course

TE Connectivity is partnering with RealPars to deliver an online SPE Fundamentals course.

TE Connectivity and RealPars will provide an online course to help people increase their skills regarding Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) interconnect technology. Demand has increased for more efficient, effective, and fast communication systems SPE has been a headliner in network infrastructure.

The course is made to give participants a comprehensive understanding of SPE technology and its benefits. It will also cover the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the field. SPE solutions can lead to cost savings and are less complex, allowing operations to go beyond their current capabilities in supporting smart manufacturing. Upon course completion participants will understand how SPE works and be able to utilize it in their own industrial setting.

On top of that participants will be able to: give definitions for the seven layers of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model, name the variety of standards that apply to SPE, list the advantages of SPE over current and legacy protocols use in automation, and much more.

Participants can go at their own pace through the course which contains 24 lessons and 1.5 hours of video content.
