At Least 30% Savings for Building Owners With ADRF’s New Wireless Network Solution

March 22, 2024
ADRF’s ADXV DAS solution is a cost-effective solution for building owners while still meeting standards.

Advanced RF Technologies Inc. (ADRF), recently announced that its ADXV DAS provides converged wireless network solutions. This will reduce costs for building owners by at least 30% by supporting commercial and public safety frequency bands in one enclosure. The ADXV DAS meets capacity and wireless coverage needs from basic to elaborate venues and transfers frequencies from VHF to C-band.

The ADXV Series modular, carrier-grade DAS is flexibly made with its NEMA 4 / IP66 chassis and utilizes the same head end, not requiring building owners to deploy commercial and public systems separately. This cost-effective solution continues to meet NFPA 1225 standards, including UL 2524, second edition. In areas where Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) still demand separate head ends for cellular coverage and public safety, “the ADXV head ends can be daisy-chained to manage the entire system from a single interface”.

On top of the NEMA 4 /IP66 rated and UL2524 second edition DAS head-end (HE), the solution includes a commercial mid or high power remote unit (RU), a public safety RU, and an optional optical expansion unit (OEU) for big deployments.

Joe Ioco, Director of Services at Communications International, commented on the solution stating, "As the demand for converged solutions continues to rise, businesses increasingly recognize the significant cost and time savings associated with integrating commercial DAS alongside mandatory public safety deployments. At Communications International, we've observed this trend firsthand and are excited to collaborate with ADRF to meet these evolving needs in jurisdictions that permit such integrated solutions."
