Infinite Electronics Plans to Plant Over 11,000 New Trees as Part of Reforestation Project
Infinite Electronics is working with One Tree Planted on a reforestation endeavor following a month-long drive where Infinite pledged to plant a tree for every online transaction across many of its brands.
“At Infinite Electronics, our commitment to sustainability and ecological stewardship is ingrained in our corporate ethos,” said Penny Cotner, the company’s CEO. “We’re delighted to continue working with One Tree Planted on this impactful campaign, and to continue fostering environmental awareness within our spheres of influence.”
Some participating brands include Pasternack, ShowMeCables, L-com, Fairview Microwave, and more. This is the third year that Infinite Electronics has run this initiative, leading to the company planting over 33,000 trees worldwide.
Trees greatly mitigate climate change and preserve biodiversity, including housing over 80 percent of terrestrial species. Forests help employ millions globally while also being carbon sinks and supplying medicinal resources.
