UTP cable terminations made easy

Oct. 28, 2010
One action terminates all four pairs and trims the excess wire.

Paladin Tools' new Jack Terminator makes UTP cable terminations simple. In one action, the four wire pairs are terminated and the tool's built-in blades cut off the excess wire, eliminating the need for a secondary trim step.

The Jack Terminator's spring-engaged blades terminate wires at the optimal stroke, the company says, and the blades are concealed as a safety measure. The ratcheted action ensures proper, consistent termination and users can adjust the tool for extra leverage if needed. The removable jack cradle allows for alternative lacing options. The tool's quick-change punch sets do not require any tools and additional punch sets are available.

The termination tool is made of steel with rubber-embedded grips for extra comfort.

Paladin Tools is a Greenlee brand.
