Systems integrator WWT to brief Gartner security, risk management summit re: cybersecurity

Systems integrator World Wide Technology, Inc. (WWT) will demonstrate its cybersecurity expertise at Gartner’s Security and Risk Management Summit this week (June 23-26).

Systems integrator World Wide Technology, Inc. (WWT) will demonstrate its cybersecurity expertise at Gartner’s Security and Risk Management Summit this week (June 23-26) at the Gaylord National in National Harbor, Maryland. At the conference, WWT's director of cybersecurity Mario Balakgie will lead a focused break-out session on the topic; WWT’s booth #916 will feature demos of the RSA SA and RSA Archer security analytics platform; and members of WWT’s Security Practice will be on hand to answer questions and provide strategic insight that organizations can use to develop their security posture and meet evolving compliance needs.

On Tuesday, June 24, WWT will offer a break-out session, Cyber Analytics: The New Security Dimension (Session Code: SPS32), during which Balakgie will examine the growing need for well-defined, non-traditional protection capabilities for advanced threat detection and response, as well as the vital importance of agile and business-relevant compliance and readiness processes. Balakgie will also introduce WWT’s unique Cyber Analytics Reference Architecture (CARA) and explore WWT’s approach to addressing the complexities of today’s cybersecurity challenges. The break-out session will be held from 2:45 to 3:30 p.m. in Chesapeake D at the Gaylord National conference center.

Visitors to WWT’s Booth 916 will get the opportunity to meet and work with members of WWT’s Security Practice, which is comprised of industry-certified security professionals, including former chief information security officers, security analysts, IT directors and leading incident response trainers with decades of experience mitigating and managing security risks for large public and private organizations. Areas of focus for WWT’s Security Practice includes Big Data cyber analytics, advanced persistent threat (APT) defense, breach readiness, enterprise secure mobility, secure cloud and data center, and secure networking.
