Corning Optical Communications announced that its Version 6 Bill-of-Materials Tool is now available to transform the way cabling contractors work.
Corning's Excel-based LANscape Solutions Bill-of-Materials Tool is billed as a fast and easy resource for identifying the fiber-optic products needed for any given local area network or data center project.
New additions to Version 6 of the tool include: SD-LAN Solution updates; and Secure Solutions product additions including those for WLL individual components, WMO individual components, and colored cables.
Users can revise, modify, and save changes to their BOM right onto their desktop. Just click on “Activate Tool,” choose the products needed, and save the bill of materials directly to a PC.
The final version of any BOM can be emailed to a preferred distributor for a quote, or to a colleague for reference. To streamline bidding, the tool also links to product specifications.
