TTI, Inc. (Ft. Worth, TX) has this month announced the availability of Phoenix Contact's 4th Gen Quint DC/DC Converters with Conformal Coating.

The specialty distributor of electronic components says the newest Quint DC/DC Converters from Phoenix Contact feature conformal coating for protection in harsh environments.

The converters have been approved for use in ATEX, IECEx and Class I Division 2 locations, so they can be used in hazardous locations around the globe.

The conformal coating protects against dust and conductive debris, corrosive gases and humidity -- and it prevents failures due to creepage currents and electromechanical corrosion. The coating also reduces the risk of failure due to vibration and thermal shock.

In stock and available for distribution, TTI says the Phoenix Contact DC/DC converters are ideal for use in almost any application -- from offices to production lines to harsh outdoor environments.
