Push-on cable end caps

March 22, 2016
Burndy’s Push-On and Force-Fit cable end caps are used to seal splices in telecom, electrical, and automotive wiring systems.

Burndy recently introduced Push-On Cable End Caps and Force Fit Cable Caps. “Push-On Cable End Caps are widely used to seal and insulate wire and splice terminations in order to create waterproof protection against corrosion, abrasion, and moisture,” the company said.

“The most common applications for Push-On End Caps are in electrical, automotive, and networking,” Burndy added. “Caps are packaged in clear polyethylene bags.”

Force Fit Cable Caps, the company continued, provide a force fit on the listed diameters of conductors accommodated. Caps are color-coded as indicated, and are packaged in a clear polyethylene bag showing size and application data.

Caps conform to the conductor shape and will remain in place without using tape, Burndy said.
