Graybar moves California branch to larger facility

The distributor has moved its Hayward, California regional service center to a larger facility.

Graybar announced that it has moved its regional service center in Hayward, California to a larger facility. The service center is now located at 3089 Whipple Road in Union City, CA, five miles from the previous location.

The new 132,000 square-foot facility is easily accessible to I-880 and boasts 50% more capacity, reports the distributor. The service center will continue to offer will-call pick up from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with after-hours emergency service available. Graybar’s Hayward Service Center is one of two regional service centers in California.

“This expansion allows us to better serve our customers in northern California and parts of Nevada,” comments Graybar’s California district vice president, David Maxwell. “The new facility has more items in stock and provides more space so we can offer additional services related to staging and the kitting of products for our customers.”

Graybar is one of North America's primary distributors of electrical, communications and data networking products and related supply chain management and logistics services.
