How-to video shows ease of spraying firestop foam in cable pathways

CableOrganizer demonstrates Abesco’s FP200 in a one-minute how-to video.

A short video posted to YouTube by CableOrganizer.com shows the ease with which an installer, technician or cable-plant manager can use a firestop-foam spray to seal cable pathways from room-to-room or floor-to-floor.

In the video, a CableOrganizer.com employee discusses and demonstrates the method of using the spray foam to firestop such an opening. There is significantly more discussion than demonstration in the video, because once the spraying begins the small-sized conduit is sealed quickly. The foam used in the demonstration is Abesco’s FP-200 Fire Foam, which the employee describes as “one of our most popular products.”

The still image below captures one of the few seconds during which the foam is being sprayed.
