In this video, Superior Essex quality control technician Tia Kirk demonstrates how to prepare the ends of an optical fiber ribbon cable for splicing. The product featured is the company's Single Tube Single Armor Optical Fiber Ribbon Cable, which is designed for outside plant (OSP) installations.

As one of the largest manufacturers of communications cable products in North America, Superior Essex notes that it produces hundreds of different fiber cable designs in its state-of-the-art facility in Brownwood, Texas.
