Mar 21st, 2012

The Tennessee National Guard is soliciting quotes for a coaxial-cabling installation project that will expand the cable television campus distribution system at its Houston barracks. The statement of work for the project says, "This will eliminate the need for multiple head-end systems, as well as improve overall quality for the receiving customers."

The National Guard requires the contractor to provide products (RG-6 quad-shield cable and F connectors) as well as installation services. The project is being offered as a veteran-owned small-business set-aside.

A site visit will be conducted at the Hugh Mott Building in Nashville, TN at 9:00am CT on Monday, April 2. Quotes for the project are due by Monday, April 9 at 3:30pm CT.

Significantly more detail on the project, including a full scope of work, is available here from FedBizOpps.gov.
