Cable Management Platform Support Dense, Complex Infrastructure While Occupying Zero Horizontal Rack Space
CommScope recently announced the late-summer 2025 availability of the CableGuide 360 cable-management platform, another addition to its Systimax 2.0 portfolio.
“The new CableGuide 360 platform, a class-leading suite of cable management solutions, is designed to protect copper and fiber cabling infrastructure with simplified installation that accelerates and densifies deployments,” CommScope said when announcing the platform, which will be available globally by late summer. “As adds and changes become more difficult, this solution is incredibly flexible and provides cable protection and application support in managing and protecting vertical and horizontal patching applications.”
The company highlighted the following specific characteristics and capabilities of CableGuide 360.
Warrantied cable protection—Support for higher cable densities and protection for copper and fiber cabling infrastructure
Faster, simpler installation—Designed for faster deployment and simpler management without extensive product training or technical expertise
Zero-U capacity and flexibility—Optimized for space efficiency in the vertical cable manager, with the ability to hose multiple 19-inch panels vertically and half-width panels horizontally
Range of design options—Available in white, silver, and black in variable widths and heights
“Today’s enterprise networks are edge-based and hyperconnected,” CommScope continues on its website. “Cabling in the backbone network and horizontal subsystems is densifying, growing more complex and unmanageable. It’s all converging on vertical and horizontal cabling managers that weren’t designed to handle the strain. Without a cabling management solution specifically designed to address the realities of network growth, today and tomorrow, network managers risk jeopardizing network performance, uptime, and network ROI.”
CommScope explained that in response to the question, “What do you need in a cable management system in order to adapt and thrive in this new reality?” customers identified the following.
- Simplified, user-friendly designs that are easier to deploy and manage
- Increased cable capacity, organization, and fiber protection
- More flexibility in panel widths/heights, configurations, and cable types/sizes
- Reliable global availability and performance
“The CableGuide 360 portfolio is uniquely designed to manage today’s high cable loads and adapt to support virtually almost any application and environment,” CommScope points out. “Flexible, single-handed door operation, strong but flexible fingers, and a wide range of panel-mounting options translate into a future-ready solution that can significantly simplify cable management, maintain optimal bend radius and protect your network’s ROI.
“Highly customizable, the CableGuide 360 portfolio is the only cable management solution with performance that’s fully backed by the SYSTIMAX Assurance program.”
The company specifically points out these attributes that make CableGuide 360 a problem-solver for users.
- Strong, pliable fingers enable higher cable densities. Designed and engineered for cable protection (bend radius).
- Smart routing reduces pinching and crushing.
- Vertical cable managers offer spools and accessories for excess cabling storage.
- Stable, durable build with lighter trough covers.
- End-to-end solution available globally.
- Covered by the SYSTIMAX Assurance program and the 25-year warranty.
When announcing CableGuide 360 along with the new FiberREACH platform, Koen ter Linde, senior vice president for Connectivity and Cable Solutions with CommScope, commented, “Our customers are looking for a more reliable cable management platform, and we have listened. CommScope continues to enhanced the SYSTIMAX 2.0 portfolio to adapt to the growing demands of global enterprise networks. FiberREACH and the CableGuide 360 platform represents a step forward in the cabling, cabling management, and connectivity that our customers need to push more power and data to the edge. These solutions build on unmatched end-to-end expertise and performance warranty offerings—giving our customers one more reason to choose CommScope to extend their networks.”
