Panduit Enhances RapidID System With In-The-Field Label Printing, Multiple-User Support

The RapidID Pro system includes unique device and asset identifiers and the ability to print labels on the spot. RapidID Pro+ provides multi-user support via a central server.

Panduit recently released RapidID Pro and RapidID Pro+, both of which are enhancements to its existing RapidID automated network mapping system.

“Designed for growing networks needing advanced troubleshooting and asset tracking, RapidID Pro builds on the RapidID Desktop solution,” the company explained when announcing the new enahnacements. “The RapidID Pro introduces enhanced network documentation through unique device and asset identifiers, enabling streamlined structure navigation. Users can now print labels for cables, devices, and assets directly in the field. RapidID Pro+ provides multi-user support with a central server solution.”

Nathan Gleghorn, senior product manager with Panduit, commented, “The RapidID offering delivers practical enhancements that directly improve how our customers document their networks. With label-printing capabilities and device and asset capture, a more-complete network view is possible. And our server version provides faster pro esses, reduced errors, and greater consistency across networks.”
