The Flash multimode OTDR serves LAN fiber-optic cable installations and maintenance testing. Features include a macro capability for recalling sequences of operations with single-button operation, ghost detection and elimination, and a 5-nanosecond pulsewidth. The 3.5-pound device is available in 850 nm, 1300 nm or dual-wavelength models. Standard models contain two rechargeable NiCd batteries, validation software, internal memory for 32 trace results, manual and carrying case. Pro Series models include all of the above items, in addition to an AC adapter, Wintrace software and 512K extended memory. Prices start at $9300.
