First annual 'ASIS Accolades' winners announced

ASIS International announced selection of its first ten "ASIS Accolades" winners. The new awards competition recognizes the security industry's most innovative new products, services and/or solutions, says the trade organization.

September 10, 2009 -- ASIS International announced the selection of its first ten "ASIS Accolades" winners. According to the trade organization, the new awards competition recognizes the security industry's most innovative new products, services and/or solutions.

ASIS invited exhibitors at the ASIS International 55th Annual Seminar and Exhibits to submit new technology, product or service solutions for evaluation and judging for the first annual Accolades competition. The winners will be recognized at ASIS 2009, billed the security industry's premier event, to be held Sept. 21-24 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA.

A team of judges representing end users and experts in security technologies evaluated more than 130 entries before selecting the top 10 winners. The trade group notes that the ASIS Accolades selections are "solutions oriented, not product specific." Accolades winners and their products/solutions will be highlighted, along with other new products on the Exhibits floor, during the Seminar's "What's New on the Floor" session, on Monday, Sept. 21 at 1:30 p.m.
