IDEAL Networks announced that its Test4Less suite of solutions was recognized by the judges of the annual Cabling Installation & Maintenance Innovators Awards program.

Wendy Thomas, national account manager for IDEAL Networks, receives the company's 2017 Cabling Innovators award from Cabling Installation & Maintenance chief editor Patrick McLaughlin (L) and publisher Alan Bergstein (R).

IDEAL Networks announced that its Test4Less suite of solutions was recognized by the judges of the annual Cabling Installation & Maintenance Innovators Awards program. The awards were presented at the 2017 BICSI Fall Conference (Sep. 24-28) in Las Vegas.

IDEAL Networks was honored with the program's Platinum-level award. Test4Less is a new suite of products, services and payment methods to help companies installing and testing data cabling and networks to reduce capital expenditure, increase productivity and improve cash flow.

“Following extensive research, Test4Less was specifically developed by IDEAL Networks to help installers and contractors,” explains Tim Widdershoven, global marketing manager from IDEAL Networks. “We’re delighted to be honored with a Platinum-level award for the work we are doing to help provide cost-effective solutions to the key challenges faced by the industry.”

Per IDEAL Networks, "The smart Test4Less solution helps installers consider whether certifiers are necessary. One customer discovered they could save as much as one million dollars by combining IDEAL Networks LanTEK III certifier kits with SignalTEK testers for a more affordable way to provide clients with proof of performance. SignalTEK also generates and shares PDF reports through the intuitive IDEAL AnyWARE app, allowing back-office teams to receive valuable test data before technicians leave the site. Test4Less also includes a ‘Pay As You Test’ purchase model for cable certifiers to transform a certifier fleet from a capital investment into an operational expense. With this approach, it could cost just $3,500 up-front for a new cable certifier. The solution also offers the Sapphire Care Plan to help protect data cable installers from unforeseen costs and reduce downtime."

Company and product entrants to the Cabling Installation & Maintenance Innovators Awards program were judged based on key criteria including: innovation; value to the user; sustainability; meeting a defined need; collaboration; and impact on the industy.

"The judging panel consisted of cabling and communications system specifiers, designers, integrators and managers with vast professional experience," said Alan Bergstein, publisher of Cabling Installation & Maintenance. Bergstein added, “This prestigious program allows Cabling Installation & Maintenance to celebrate and recognize the most innovative products and services in the structured cabling industry. Our 2017 Honorees are an outstanding example of companies who are making an impact in the industry.”
