Galtronics intros new wireless infrastructure passive RF devices

At the Mobile World Congress 2015, Galtronics announced the expansion of its wireless infrastructure products with the launch of its CONNECTi line of passive radio frequency devices.

At the Mobile World Congress 2015 (MWC) in Barcelona (March 2-5), Galtronics announced the expansion of its wireless infrastructure products with the launch of its CONNECTi line of passive radio frequency (RF) devices, designed specifically for next-generation head-end infrastructure and telecom network access equipment.

Displayed for the first time at MWC, Galtronics’ CONNECTi line is comprised of 10 product categories including: directional couplers; high/low power splitters; jumpers; hybrid couplers; attentuators; termination loads; tappers; diplexers, and brackets. All devices in the CONNECTi line are also available with mini-DIN 4.1/9.5 connectors.

“The addition of the CONNECTi passive RF devices product portfolio is adding to our PEAR for in-building and EXTENT for outdoor and stadium antenna portfolio, enabling us to offer complete packages to our customers that meet their infrastructure equipment, system and installation needs,” noted Ben Bar, Galtronics' EVP of sales and marketing.

“We are proud to expand our infrastructure product portfolio with a broad range of comprehensive PIM-rated RF devices, enabling us to support our customers with a wide range of passive RF devices to achieve optimized and high system performance, while improving compatibility and efficiency -- especially in connection with Galtronics antennas,” added Ephraim Ulmer, president and CEO of Galtronics.

The full CONNECTi product line from Galtronics will be commercially available at the end of the first quarter of 2015.
