Comtran hires transit sales engineer

Bob Sudo, with 25 years’ experience in the rail/transit industry, will play an integral role in growing Comtran’s transit-cable product portfolio.

Comtran, which provides specialty cable and system solutions, recently added Bob Sudo as transit sales engineer. The company says Sudo’s role “will be integral as Comtran continues to grow its transit product portfolio.”

Sudo has more than 25 years’ experience in the rail/transit industry, serving a number of roles in engineering, project management, and business development. Most recently he was business development manager with DEUTA America.

“His vast industry knowledge includes signaling, SCADA, data communications, and transit vehicle components,” Comtran said.

Sudo’s responsibilities at Comtran include cultivating relationships, identifying technical requirements for projects, and developing specification position. Craig Stratton, Comtran’s vice president for transit infrastructure, commented, “Bob’s extensive background and prior success are a great match for Comtran. His experience will be instrumental in continuing to strengthen our brand and reputation as a leader in the transit-infrastructure market.”
