Data Center Summit to address topics including fiber connectivity, network design, security

The online event to be held December 14 and 15 will feature seven hour-long roundtable discussions with industry technical and business experts.

On December 14 and 15 Cabling Installation & Maintenance will host the Data Center Summit, a series of seven roundtable-style sessions that will cover multiple technical and business aspects of data center operation and management. Data Center Summit will be produced by our parent company, Endeavor Business Media, and has been organized by Cabling Installation & Maintenance along with other Endeavor brands Data Center Frontier, ISE, Lightwave, and SecurityInfoWatch.

Cabling Installation & Maintenance’s chief editor Patrick McLaughlin will moderate two of the sessions on Wednesday, December 14, titled “Trends Driving Data Center Innovation” (12:00 noon EST) and “Navigating High-Speed Data Center Network Evolution” (4:00pm EST).

  • 12:00 noon—Trends Driving Data Center Innovation
  • 2:00 p.m.—High-Speed Optics for the Data Center
  • 4:00 p.m.—Navigating High-Speed Data Center Network Evolution

Thursday, December 15 (all times EST)

  • 10:00 a.m.—Data Center Security: A Convergence of Cybersecurity and Physical Hardening
  • 12:00 noon—Fiber and Connectivity Options for Data Center Networks
  • 2:00 pm—Data Center Sustainability Challenges and Solutions

Cabling Installation & Maintenance has applied to BICSI for a continuing education credit for the live presentations of each of the seven sessions to be delivered.
