Tempo Communications (formerly Greenlee Communications) has announced the launch of its fully stocked Fiber Tool Kits product line, designed to give communications technicians the instruments needed to optimally install and test today’s fiber-optic networks.

This latest product offering from Tempo reinforces the company's stated "commitment to provide innovative, job-specific tools and test equipment at the right price for every technician."

The new fiber-optic tool kits are available in four configurations to satisfy the various tasks that fiber-optic technicians may encounter.

Customers may choose one from of the four kit options, including Tempo's:

Basic Tools Kit

Pro Tools Kit

Pro Plus Tools Kit

Termination Tools Kit

Each fiber tool kit includes a rugged tool bag and contains all of the common fiber-optic tools required to effectively and safely complete the job in an efficient and timely manner. The kit's bag is branded with the Tempo and Paladin logos to reflect the items housed within, and extra pockets are incorporated to hold accessories and other tools that the technician may add over time.

“The tools themselves are best-in-class,” said Keith Foord, Fiber Product Manager for Tempo Communications. “The new tool bag is like icing on the cake and is made to safely house and organize all the tools for easy access.”

The various fiber tool kit configurations include such items as:

Kevlar cutters

Long nose pliers

3-in-1 fiber optic stripper

Visual fault locator

Micro optical power meter (OPM)

915CL cleaver

Notably, two new members of Tempo’s fiber tool portfolio are also now available in the kits: a drop cable stripper and a ring and slit stripper.
