MicroCare (New Britain, CT), a provider of critical cleaning fluids and tools for the electronics and fiber optics industries, on May 28 announced the addition of Beth Silvia, CPA, who will be joining the company as its new assistant corporate controller.
Ms. Silvia will be responsible for management of accounting and finance functions for MicroCare in the United States and all of its foreign subsidiaries. She will also assume responsibility for supervision of audits and all global corporate financial reporting, statutory filings and tax compliance.
Before joining MicroCare, Silvia worked as director of finance for South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority. She has also served in various roles and capacities for United Technologies, Otis Elevator and Deloitte & Touche. She received her BBA in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University, and will work out of MicroCare's New Britain, CT corporate offices.
