BICSI is seeking to hire a training deliver specialist (TDS). In this job posting, the association says the TDS’s primary role is to serve as a remote/traveling instructor, delivering and teaching BICSI training programs.

“A TDS also serves as a subject matter expert in the field of ICT [information and communications technology],” BICSI added. It is seeking candidates who hold the RCDD or another BICSI credential, and expects the specialist to “represent BICSI in a positive and professional manner at all times.”

A candidate with at least two years’ training and development experience, who can demonstrate excellence in teaching and instruction, is considered highly qualified. BICSI prefers candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, as well as recent installation experience.

In its job posting, BICSI lists the following specific duties of the TDS.

  • Serve as class trainer for remote classes and at BICSI headquarters
  • Serve as subject matter expert, working with instructional designers and technical editors
  • Serve as quality control specialist
