Platinum Tools announced the launch of its new 8-in-1 Ratcheted Stubby Screwdriver.

Platinum Tools, a provider of products for the preparation, installation, hand termination and testing of wire and cable, announced the launch of its new 8-in-1 Ratcheted Stubby Screwdriver (Part No. 19120C).

“Our new 8-in-1 Stubby Screwdriver is small, tough, and fully ratcheted with seven bits, making it the perfect tool for cramped spaces,” says Sean Rothermel, Platinum Tools product manager. “It features a six-position bit retention holster in the cap conveniently built directly into the handle. Simply unscrew the top cap and swap bits out as needed -- which means no more lost bits!”

According to the company, the 19120C features high force precision ratcheting mechanism and a non-slip, TPR rubberized handle that provides a positive tactile grip, allowing for quick tightening and loosening of screws with minimal effort. The 19120C bit load includes Phillips (1, 2, 3), Slotted (3/16in., 1/4in.), Torx (T15, T20), and a 1/4-inch Nut Driver.

“The 8-in-1 Stubby Screwdriver also includes a multitude of other benefits for such a compact tool, including a forward, reverse, and fixed ratchet, and hardened chromium-vanadium steel bits and shaft,” adds Rothermel. “The small, sleek design fits easily in any tool belt or pocket.”
