Klein Tools says it has redesigned its 3-Piece insulated tool kit to feature 1000V insulated pliers and wire strippers with a sleek design for all-day comfort and easy handling and storage.
The 1000V Insulated Tool Kit, 3-Piece (Cat. No. 9416R) includes the manufacturer's:
- Insulated Klein-Kurve Wire Stripper and Cutter (Cat. No. 11055RINS)
- 8’’ Insulated Diagonal Cutting Pliers (Cat. No. 2288RINS)
- 9’’ Insulated Lineman’s Pliers (Cat. No. 2139NERINS)
Klein Tools says the kit tools' durable molded insulation meets or exceed ASTM F1505 and IEC 60900 standards for insulated tools. Its 1000V-rated orange impact and flame-resistant insulation provides protection from electrical shock. A thick multi-layer grip design also provides protection against electric shock, with integral guards to help prevent hand contact with conductive parts.
The kit's pliers feature induction hardened cutting knives for long life. The wire stripper/cutter cuts, strips, loops, bends, and gauges 10-18 AWG solid and 12-20 AWG stranded wire, and can cleanly shear 6-32 and 8-32 screws.
