Harris taps Lee Technologies to construct Tier III, LEED Silver data center

Lee has been awarded a major contract to design and build the Harris Cyber Integration Center.

FAIRFAX, Va. -- Lee Technologies, a provider of data center services including designing, building, operating, monitoring and maintaining of business-critical facilities for highly data-reliant private- and public-sector organizations, announced it has been awarded a major contract by Harris Corporation to design and build the Harris Cyber Integration Center, a new Tier III, LEED Silver-certified facility in the mid-Atlantic region.

"This center and its offerings reflect customers' needs to address the ever-increasing importance of security, the maturation of trusted technology and cloud computing, and the continuing need to drive down IT management costs."

"This contract is a significant milestone for Lee Technologies, as it substantiates our ability to bring an efficient and state-of-the-art facility online in record time to support our nation's cyber capabilities," said Anthony Rizzo, vice president of public sector for Lee Technologies.

Based on a tiered structure, Harris says the Cyber Integration Center will provide its customers with an assured infrastructure, managed security, and tailored applications and services. The new data center will feature a trusted technology infrastructure, including a tested and accredited environment, supply chain integrity, and advanced persistent threat deterrence.
