Copper cable cutter

May 30, 2018
Jonard Tools’ JIC-625 cable cutter works on all types of soft-copper coaxial and twisted-pair network cables.

Jonard Tools recently introduced the JIC-625 Copper Coax and Network Cable Cutter. The tool “is designed to cut all types of soft copper coax and network cables, and is tough enough to cut solid, stranded and flexible cables up to 6 AWG,” the company said.

The cutter is made from heat-treated chrome vanadium steel, Jonard added, which enables a longer tool life. The blades are precision-ground.

The JIC-625’s jaw width is 1 inch, and jaw thickness is 0.4 inches. It is 6.5 inches in length and weighs just under a half-pound.
