BICSI Makes Last Call for Cabling Skills Challenge Competitors

The winner will be crowned 2026 Installer of the Year during BICSI’s Winter Conference.

BICSI has extended the deadline and made a “last call” for competitors in its 2026 Cabling Skills Challenge. The Challenge will be held during the BICSI Winter Conference, culminating in the crowning of the 2026 Installer of the Year on Wednesday, January 21.

The extended deadline for competitors to register is Monday, January 12.

When announcing the deadline extension, BICSI said, “If you’re a BICSI-certified installer or technician ready to test your skills against the industry’s top talent, this is your last call to apply. Compete for the title of Installer of the Year and a U.S.$5000 cash prize.

“Each year, the Cabling Skills Challenge brings together standout professionals from across the ICT field for two days of hands-on events that mirror real-world jobsite scenarios. Competitors receive complimentary conference access and can demonstrate precision, safety, knowledge, and craftsmanship—all while getting their work seen by industry leaders, employers, and peers.”
