April 23, 2004 - Cable assemblies feature a proprietary solder-less termination of the signal and ground conductors.

A complete line of Serial ATA cables is now available from Rapid Conn, Inc.

These cable assemblies are manufactured in the United States using Rapid Conn's own patent pending connectors that meet all the requirements of the Serial ATA specification. In addition, they feature a proprietary solder-less termination of the signal and ground conductors. This termination method is designed to provide consistent electro/mechanical performance and triple redundancy of the ground leads for enhanced reliability of the machine-prepped cable.

Standard cables are available in 1/2 and 1 meter lengths with either straight or right angle connectors and various gold plating thicknesses to meet cost and durability requirements.

Serial ATA is based in Singapore. For more information visit www.rapidconn.com.
