3-axis IR mini dome cameras feature built-in 802.3af -compliant PoE

IP surveillance solution provider Vivotek has announced the launch of two compact three-axis IR mini dome cameras. The FD9166-HN and FD9366-HV are now available.

“Vivotek’s NDAA-compliant 2MP mini domes feature a compact and stylish design with three-axis lens support that enables resolutions of 1920x1080 at 30fps,” explains David Liu, president of Vivotek USA, Inc.

Liu continues, “The added WDR Pro feature provides unparalleled visibility in high-contrast environments. By combining Smart Stream III and H.265 compression technology in a compact package of less than four inches wide and less than two inches high, these cameras can reduce bandwidth usage by up to 90 percent for better storage savings and to maintain supreme image quality, while taking up minimum space.”

Both the FD9166-HN and FD9366-HV are suitable for providing around-the-clock surveillance at storefronts, restaurants, hotels, and many other retail, commercial, and non-commercial environments.

The FD9166-HN is equipped with IR illuminators up to 33ft. at 940nm for superior night visibility and reliable coverage in indoor environments.

The FD9366-HV is equipped with IR illuminators up to 66ft. at 850nm for superb night visibility and reliable coverage in outdoor environments. With its weatherproof (IP66 / IP67), vandal-proof (IK10), and NEMA 4X housing, the FD9366-HV can withstand any extreme outdoor conditions.

Additional key features of the FD9166-HN and FD9366-HV include: built-in 802.3af compliant PoE; a built-in MicroSD/SDHC/SDXC card slot for on-board storage; video rotation for corridor scenarios.
